Today, when the cross and all it stands for is seen as no longer relevant in the lives of many, there is an urgent need for a powerful ongoing and public statement of faith. On Good Friday, there is a Walk of Witness to the Cross and the saving power of Jesus Christ. Beginning at Pitlochry’s Church of Scotland, the Walk of Witness silently makes its way around Pitlochry, stopping at certain landmarks now and then to listen to the account of Jesus’ final hours before he was crucified, before ending back at the Church of Scotland building for a short reflection and moments of prayer. Feel free to join us outside the Church of Scotland building at 8am, or anywhere along the road.
